This afternoon I went to the ShopRite on Liberty Heights Avenue and came out with about 6 bags. The female security officer came to my car and helped me load my bags (there was another officer at her post). She was pleasant, personable and insisted on letting the heavy bags into my car since I am a disabled senior. I thanked her profusely and she said that she just wanted to help me. There was one lot person but he was moving carts and was on the other side of the lot. I would like to commend Security Officer Sonja for going above and beyond the call of duty when she didn't have to do it. The management of ShopRite should know how wonderful she is. It's my neighborhood grocery store... I am there so much that I know a lot of the staff.. Thts what makes this store great - THE STAFF.. The store is generally clean and well stocked.. The only issue I have ever had.. the International Aisle is something to be desired but...HEY!!! The selection of meat and seafood is typically fresh and desirable.. I appreciate that..

I love coming to this Shop Rite since it opened over a year ago. The area was in need of a market and this was a welcomed addition. The produce, seafood and meat are always fresh and the weekly specials, when combined with coupons (which they double on ones with a value up to $1.00 with an additional $25 purchase), will have you racking up the savings. The staff are courteous and helpful also. If l can get a great deal, which is pretty often here, l drive across town here as the price l pay in gas is worth it.
